How we work
This page lists what PokieProof does today, what it plans to do, and the rules for both. Planned work is labelled planned. Nothing here claims a test that has not been done.
What exists now
- A bonus calculator and a wagering guide. They use one formula, shown on both pages. The code has 13 automated tests whose expected values were worked out by hand.
- No casino reviews, rankings or operator links. We have no payout tests to publish yet, so there is nothing to rank.
Calculator assumptions
- Expected loss equals bets required times one minus the RTP you enter. It assumes the requirement is cleared and ignores variance, caps and expiry.
- Float rounding is handled so that spin counts are not overstated by one.
- All inputs stay in your browser. The calculator does not send them anywhere.
Planned: real-money tests before any review
Before we publish a review or put an operator in a list, we plan to complete each step below with our own money and record the date:
- Who runs it. The company and licence the operator names, checked against the registry it points to.
- Deposit. A small real deposit by card, PayID or crypto, with fees and timing noted.
- Withdrawal. A real cash-out, timed from request to money received, including identity checks.
- Bonus terms. Wagering base, multiple, contribution, maximum bet, expiry and cash-out cap, turned into a dollar figure with the calculator.
- Support. One question to live chat or email, with the response time.
An operator that fails a step is marked down or left out. If an operator worsens its payouts, we will remove it from lists within 48 hours of confirming it.
Corrections
If a number or statement is wrong, write to [email protected]. We check it, fix it and note the change on the page with the date. Corrections that change a result are shown, not hidden.
